Details

Spinsters of San Francisco comprises approximately 100 professional women who have earned a college degree or equivalent trade certification, primarily between the ages of 21 and 40, dedicated to improving themselves professionally and positively impacting the local community. New members are selected each spring on the basis of community and professional involvement, enthusiasm, and diversity.

SOSF Eligibility Requirements:

For Prospective New Members (“PNMs”) to be eligible to apply:

  • Applicant must reside in the San Francisco Bay Area

  • Applicant must be between the ages of 21 and 40 years old

  • Applicant cannot be currently married

  • Applicant must have a college degree or equivalent trade certification

SOSF Recruitment Process:

To be eligible to join, Prospective New Members must:

  • Have a sponsor within Spinsters of San Francisco who is an active member

  • Attend at least one nonprofit fundraiser or volunteering event

  • Attend at least two social PNM events
